Rafts, Duckies, Sit-on-tops, SUP’s, & Tubes
8200 Mountain Sports is your source for family rafting adventures on the Rio Grande. We offer for rent, a complete line of top quality rafts, duckies (inflatable kayaks), SUP’s, and river inner tubes for your float down the river. All of our rafts are self‐bailing for your convenience and safety. PFD’s and paddles are included.
The floats generally last 2-3 hours, and encompass anywhere from 8-16 miles of river depending on the river flows. The trips may include rapids from very mild class I, to a slightly more adventurous float with some class II (seasonal) rapids.
For the local lakes we offer hard shell Sit-on-Top (SoT) recreation kayaks. If you are looking for a great relaxing day on flatwater, these kayaks will allow to “cruise around” the lakes and enjoy some peace and quiet.
The rafting crew at 8200 are all very experienced oarsmen and will instruct you on the proper use of your vessel and equipment provided.

Option 1: U-Haul it
U-haul it requires that you pick up the equipment at 8200 Sports and return it by 4:00pm

Option 2: Self Guided
With self-guided rentals, we will deliver you and the equipment to the river and pick you up at a pre-determined location at the end of your float. Self-Guided floats typically last up to 2-3 hours

Reservation / Cancellation Policy
8200 Mountain Sports requires payment for your self-guided raft rental at time of reservation. A 7-day cancellation policy is in effect. If you cancel your trip 8 days or more prior to your trip date you will be charged a 5% cancellation fee. If you cancel or change your trip date 7 days or less you will forfeit the cost of the trip, unless, we are able to book the exact number of people for the exact dates and exact pricing of your trip.
