Where to we arrive / check in?

You start and end each trip at our headquarters, located inside 8200 Mountain Sports at 30923 W. Hwy 160, South Fork, CO 81154. We provide a shuttle service to and from all of our activities.  Please arrive promptly ten minutes prior to your departure time to allow us to prepare you for your trip. Our guides will greet you with a smile as you arrive!  They will assist you in checking in first with our friendly office personnel.

What should we bring?

We suggest breathable waders coupled with synthetic long underwear and thick socks as the water temperatures can be cool. Felt soled or Rubber soled wading boots are a must – absolutely no studded boots are allowed in the boats, nor are they recommended for small streams.

In the mid summer heat many people prefer to wet wade on trips and find that it is very refreshing. Quick dry shorts and briefs are highly recommended. For float trips we suggest river sandals and shorts, as you will be in the boat the majority of the day.

Don’t forget your fishing vest, long sleeve shirt, hat, polarized glasses, sunscreen, bug spray, camera, medications, polar fleece pullover and of course rain gear for the daily afternoon showers.

Equipment recommendations are 8′-9′ 3, 4 or 5wt rods for dries and nymphing. Plus a 9′ 6wt for streamers and windy days. A 7′-9′ leader in 4x or 5x is preferred.

Is a license required?

A Colorado fishing license is required.  You can Buy a License directly from Colorado Parks & Wildlife online or there are local license vendors as well in South Fork.

What is provided?

All fishing gear, soft tackle is provided. Our all-inclusive trips have NO hidden costs, and don’t require the purchase of additional supplies or equipment! Catch and release, and the use of barb-less hooks, is practiced on all trips.
